TOKYO, August 13th, 2020, intellim Corporation, a Clinical Research Organization (Head Office: Taito-ku Tokyo; President and CEO; Masakuni Ukita; hereinafter “intellim”) was recognized as a SDG partner to take the initiative in actively advancing efforts for achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by the Japan International Cooperation Agency, a governmental agency of Japan providing Official Development Assistance (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku Tokyo; hereinafter “JICA”).

intellim signed the agreement for “The Socialist Republic of Vietnam - Project Implementation of Survey on Improving Cancer Treatment Standard of Care for Doctors in Vietnam and Introducing Clinical Trials for New Anticancer Drugs in Vietnam” with JICA, and has been advancing the promotion of standard treatment in the field of oncology by improving the cancer diagnosis and treatment levels of care of doctors and health-care providers in Vietnam. JICA recognized intellim’s efforts aimed at achieving SDGs and granted intellim with the SDG partner certification.

In addition to the efforts mentioned above in Vietnam, intellim has executed partnership agreements with Clinical Research Malaysia, a Malaysian governmental non-profit organization and the Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai in Thailand. We will continue to push forward with our efforts to further activate clinical trials in the Southeast Asia as a leading CRO by making use of these partnership agreements as well as our networks with Southeast Asian countries and our clinical experience and knowledge.
